Chapter 1: Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 Enterprise Portal Administration

This chapter briefly reviews vital Enterprise Portal concepts. The majority of this chapter covers important areas of configuration that are vital to a successful Enterprise Portal deployment.

This course is a follow-on to the Enterprise Portal Development I course and does not duplicate that material. An additional prerequisite to this course is the Microsoft Dynamics AX Development I course.

Lab 1.1: Configure Licenses

•	Access the current license information in your Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 system
•	Make a list of the system and module licenses, including the number of user licenses.

After completing this module, students will be able to:

•	Review Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.
•	Learn how to configure licenses for Enterprise Portal.
•	Review how to configure Users, User groups, and Web users.
•	Learn how to configure Security.

Chapter 2: Enhancements to Web Forms

This chapter covers the differences when coding Web elements. You should already have some experience adding code to standard application forms. You will use the following common modification tasks:

•	Lookup Forms.
•	Modifying forms based on user role.
