Introduction
This one day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to set up, manage and use company-spanning business relations using the Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 Intercompany functionality.
This course builds on knowledge learned in Trade and Logistics Series I and II. It covers the settings that have to be made and different methods of building intercompany chains as well as the operation of intercompany orders.
Audience
This course is intended for customers wishing to learn about Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 Intercompany.
The class is targeted at IT professionals, sales and purchase managers, sales people, purchasers and others in an organization who are responsible for the setup and administration of the intercompany, trade and logistics and inventory management functionality in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0.

Chapter 5: Add-ons
This chapter explains how to set up and use special Intercompany processes such as synchronization of serial and batch numbers and return orders. Additionally the chapter also covers the set up of company border spanning business processes with more than two intercompany companies. Finally, the chapter examines how master planning is implemented across multiple companies in the Intercompany chain.
