Introduction

This three-day course, Manufacturing II in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0, explores the module from an end-user’s point of view. This course includes order setup and processing, including setup of the produced item and execution of production. This process enables users to identify what is being produced, what needs to be produced, and what needs to be purchased or produced and when.


Audience

This course is intended for participants that will use Microsoft Dynamics NAV manufacturing from a general user perspective. Microsoft Dynamics Partner professionals who are new to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution and need a general overview of the functionalities of the manufacturing module can also benefit from this course. It is strongly recommended that students have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics NAV financials, a working knowledge of manufacturing terms and processes, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV inventory.

Completion of the Inventory Control in Microsoft Dynamics NAV course (recommended, but not required)
