IntroductionThis one-day course explores the manufacturing costing functionality of Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision from a user's perspective. Modules in this hands-on classroom experience include functionality available in the standard edition of Microsoft Navision. Application functionality discussed in the course includes: calculation of standard costs, determination of inventory values, revaluation of inventory, and posting of inventory costs in a manufacturing environment. All material used in the Manufacturing Costing course is based on Release 4.00 of Microsoft Navision. AudienceThis training material is intended for employees of Microsoft Certified Business Solutions Partners, implementing and supporting Microsoft Navision for Manufacturing, with a focus on inventory management. This audience typically includes application consultants who are tasked with assessing a customer's business needs and advising them on the use, configuration, and customization of the application. Additionally, employees of Microsoft-Subsidiaries who sell and support Microsoft Navision for Manufacturing also benefit from the course.
